Hi, I'm Monique!

I'm an accidental marketer, professional fixer, and lemons-to-lemonade master. I've centered my professional efforts, and perhaps my personal efforts too, around two guiding principles: efficiency and finding a way to make things happen. So when, as a receptionist, my boss approached me with the idea that I begin managing our social media pages, my first thought was, "What, in my experience of answering phones, makes me qualified to build a professional social media presence?" My second thought was, "If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it right. And if I'm going to do this right, I'm going to need some help." I funded my professional education, dedicating my time to learning as much as possible until I found the confidence and developed the skills needed to produce tangible results, ultimately increasing the organization's social media engagement by over 600%. 

As intimidating as it can be to be responsible for something you have no idea how to do, it is even more rewarding to witness your growth, admire your progress, and fall in love with the process. I remain dedicated to my professional growth and development and pursuing my passions. And so, the adventure continues!
